Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer prescribed therapies, and document clinical findings and actions.
- Assess needs, develop and implement care plans, and adjust interventions based on patient response.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff on the shift, providing guidance and ensuring safe, effective workflow.
- Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, case management, and other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
- Communicate with patients and families to explain care plans, answer questions, and provide education as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate handoffs between shifts and maintain clear, thorough documentation to support continuity of care.

Requirements
- ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to supervise and coordinate care across levels of nursing staff
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and independent decision-making
- Day shift readiness; able to work 12-hour shifts as scheduled
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligible/authorized to practice in California per licensure requirements)
- Current ability to participate in a travel assignment and meet facility onboarding expectations
