About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures with a daily caseload that varies based on facility needs
• Participate in an on-call rotation, approximately 3-4 days per month
• Float to other buildings on the same campus as needed to meet facility demands
• Utilize C-arm and O-arm equipment within scope of practice
• Maintain and wear a radiation badge at all times while on shift (badge must be provided by agency prior to start)
• Complete orientation during the first week, which may include daytime day-shift hours before transitioning to the set night schedule

• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• South Carolina license (SCRQSA or equivalent) must be in hand prior to start date - pending licenses will be considered, but clearance to work will not be granted until the license is active
• Minimum 1 year of X-ray/Radiology Tech experience required
• C-arm and O-arm experience required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

• Trauma experience preferred (Level 1 Trauma environment)
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
