Employee Relations Specialist

Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to workplace policies, procedures, and practices. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Mediate and resolve employee disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale and engagement. Collaborate with operational management to achieve Christiana Care business objectives such as change leadership and retention initiatives. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and policy violations. Prepare detailed investigation reports and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Conduct exit interviews and analyze the data for trends and improvement opportunities. Develop, revise, and communicate employee relations policies and procedures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or higher required. 2 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field.
