General OR Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12 hours, Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 19:00. On-call requirement: Approximately 5-8 calls per month, including weekends.

Job Description

The General OR Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a surgical setting. This role involves both scrubbing and circulating various general OR cases, including plastics, colorectal, urology, minimally invasive surgeries (MIS), pancreatic/biliary, and surgical oncology.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for general OR cases.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of the sterile field.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain a high level of infection control and safety standards.
• Manage and monitor patient vitals and surgical progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Current SC or Multi-state Registered Nurse license required.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS preferred.
• Experience in scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical cases is highly preferred.
