Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Protection in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
