Senior General Ledger Accountant

Private equity backed high-growth company in the blue collar services industry growing both organically and through acquisitions every year throughout the United States. This roles is located in the corporate office in the Phoenix Biltmore area and is a hybrid role with 4 days in office. Full Job Description In this highly visible Senior General Ledger Accountant, you’ll partner closely with the Corporate Controller to oversee general ledger accounting for multiple entities, and process improvement initiatives while helping build the scalable infrastructure needed for continued expansion. This role has opportunities for growth as the company continues to grow. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include Partner with the corporate controller to implement process improvements and automation leveraging software tools Assist with setting up and performing new accounting processes as the company grows before these tasks are delegated out to the broader team Help lead and mentor the accounting team while ensuring continuous improvement in the close process in terms of both speed, documentation, and accuracy, compliance with US GAAP, and successful audits Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years’ experience spread across external audit and accounting within industry is required Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision is required Familiar with Sage Intacct, FloQast, and Ramp is preferred Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-state, multi-location operation is preferred Previous M/A and/or Private Equity experience is preferred Analytical with problem solving aptitude and a keen eye for detail #J-18808-Ljbffr FirstLine Road Solutions
