- Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in synergy with physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
- Providing valuable education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and management of health shifts
- Prescribing necessary medications and treatment protocols as per your practice scope
- Involved in the ongoing management and follow-up of patient care protocols
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient experiences
- Maintaining comprehensive and precise records within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Georgia
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent certification in your specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure these within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, their families, and clinical colleagues
- Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-centric settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency in telehealth technology
