Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in synergy with physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
• Providing valuable education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and management of health shifts

Essential Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Certifications You Will Need

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent certification in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure these within 90 days)
