Reno, NV | Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire | $22.00/hour | Monday–Friday

Our client, a fast-paced Reno manufacturer, is hiring a Die Maintenance Helper with welding skills to support tooling, equipment maintenance, and fabrication work. Bring your MIG/TIG/Stick fundamentals; they'll build on them with forklift, overhead crane, and manipulator training — and a temp-to-hire path that can grow into full maintenance and skilled trades roles.

What You'll Do
- Assist with loading and unloading dies from heating furnaces
- Support tooling setups and maintenance activities
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and manipulators (training provided)
- Use grinders, impact wrenches, and cutting tools
- Clean, maintain, and protect dies against damage and corrosion
- Assist with minor repairs, including air and gas hose maintenance
- Follow safety procedures and support production goals
What You'll Bring
- Welding experience required — MIG, TIG, or Stick, basic to intermediate
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing, metals, or industrial experience preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Preferred: blueprint reading, fabrication or mechanical experience, forklift/crane exposure
- Physical readiness: regular 50-lb lifts, standing all shift, comfort with heat, noise, and PPE (including welding gear)
