Barista

Overview The Barista creates memorable guest experiences by preparing high-quality specialty coffee beverages, serving food items, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other café menu items. Prepare, package, and serve food orders according to food safety and quality standards. Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide personalized service. Educate guests about beverage offerings and recommend products based on their preferences. Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout each shift. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner. Stay knowledgeable about seasonal beverages, promotions, and café offerings. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest experiences. Follow all Camelback Resort safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and fellow team members. Ensure the safety and well‑being of our guests. Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available for early morning shifts starting at 6:00 AM. Strong listening, problem‑solving, and communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages are a plus. Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude and strong guest service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds. Ability to tolerate exposure to hot beverages, steam, cold storage areas, and busy or noisy work environments. Ability to work in a fun, fast‑paced environment.
