The prospective candidate researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems for Department of Defense, commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. The Strategic Launcher Directorate consists of incredible people with backgrounds in Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Engineers with focus on Control Systems and Electronics Design. The Launcher Electronics Group is one facet of the Hardware Engineering community here at Northrop Grumman, Sunnyvale, CA campus which also includes Mechanical Design, Thermal and Structural Analysis, and Materials Analysis to name a few. Our engineers find professional fulfillment in leading teams, performing cutting-edge research, and being in the forefront of the design process through our partnership with the program office business leadership.The Launcher Electronics group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer Level 2/ 3 with knowledge and experience with design and test of analog and digital circuitry, cable design, data acquisition systems, and electronic control systems including motors, mechanical actuators, and sensors. The candidate should also have a strong knowledge of electronic test equipment, test methods, and troubleshooting. The ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter are requirements for this position. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
