Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Surgical

Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, supporting patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. Key Responsibilities Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Assist with respiratory support including Bi-PAP, high flow oxygen, and ventilators. Ensure patient safety through critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management. Collaborate with Nursing Assistants, Interns, Providers, PT, and OT staff. Maintain enhanced technology tools such as patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification within six months. PRN requires at least one year of relevant RN experience and all certifications at hire.
