Lead Technician

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Lead Technician.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year.

What you’ll do:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assemble electrical products of all levels including motor controls, circuit breakers, etc. This includes all sub-assemblies to the component level and large scale units.

• Support Switchgear Modernization products and perform time entry transactions through Eaton proprietary software systems.

• Visually check components and assemblies for electrical and mechanical defects.

• Read and understand blueprint and schematics for assembly and troubleshooting.

• Complete sub-assembly and wiring of any product as assigned.

• Maintain quality records, calibration records, charts, and area performance to forecast as directed.

• Develop vendor relationships to assist with material specifications, quality control, purchasing, and delivery.

• Receive direction and assignments from the assigned leader, and report any problems to the leader.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent and graduate of a two (2) year, full-time, accredited electronics technology school or its equivalent in the military or academic college training.

• Five years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation technology.
