Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Tele (Stepdown) - 12 Hour Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, with weekends scheduled as required.

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a cardiac stepdown unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients with cardiac conditions, including post-operative care.
• Administer and titrate intravenous medications (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Heparin).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience with titrating intravenous medications is mandatory.
• Experience in a cardiac stepdown or telemetry unit is preferred.
