El Steward / Lavaplatos es responsable de mantener la cocina limpia, organizada y en condiciones sanitarias adecuadas para garantizar el funcionamiento eficiente de las operaciones de alimentos y bebidas. Este puesto se encarga de lavar y desinfectar correctamente platos, vasos, utensilios, ollas, sartenes y equipos de cocina, cumpliendo con las normas de higiene, salud y seguridad establecidas.
El candidato ideal debe ser responsable, organizado, detallista y capaz de trabajar eficientemente en un ambiente dinámico. Asimismo, deberá colaborar con el equipo de cocina para mantener altos estándares de limpieza y contribuir al buen funcionamiento de las operaciones diarias.
Requisitos MínimosCapacidad para permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados y realizar tareas físicas, incluyendo levantar, cargar y mover suministros o equipos.
Conocimientos básicos de limpieza, higiene y normas de saneamiento.
Disponibilidad para trabajar en diferentes turnos, incluyendo mañanas, tardes, noches, fines de semana y días festivos.
Capacidad para seguir instrucciones, organizar tareas y trabajar eficazmente en equipo.
Responsabilidad, puntualidad, compromiso y atención a los detalles.
Experiencia previa como Steward, lavaplatos o en un puesto similar dentro de la industria hotelera o de servicios de alimentos.
Familiaridad con máquinas industriales para lavar platos, equipos de cocina y productos de limpieza.
Conocimientos de prácticas de seguridad alimentaria e higiene.
Buenas habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para colaborar con el equipo de cocina y servicio.
Lavar y desinfectar platos, vasos, utensilios, ollas, sartenes y equipos de cocina utilizando máquinas industriales y métodos manuales cuando sea necesario.
