Position Summary Lead and develop high‑performing teams in assigned store areas. Responsibilities include training, coaching, customer service leadership, financial performance management, operational excellence, and cultural development. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop teams through coaching, training, and active listening. Communicate store operations, merchandising, and company initiatives across all associate levels. Implement company change efforts and set clear expectations to achieve business objectives. Model outstanding customer service using the One Best Way (OBW) Service model. Manage customer service initiatives, resolve complaints, and drive process improvements. Drive sales and profitability by reviewing profit & loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals. Hire, train, mentor, and recognize associates; foster a culture of belonging. Communicate expectations, set performance goals, and build accountability for results. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and values; support the Open Door Policy. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders; identify and act on improvement opportunities. Promote a culture of respect, belonging, and continuous learning. Act with integrity, humility, honesty, and transparency; uphold Walmart values. Serve customers and members by prioritizing their needs and applying business models. Make data‑driven decisions that balance short‑ and long‑term priorities. Encourage continuous improvement and embrace new technologies. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm‑selling facilities: completed firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition‑selling facilities with state requirements: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility. Complete required job training and assessments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Leadership. Experience supervising five or more direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities. Experience at the specified location: 1105 BOSTON RD, SPRINGFIELD, MA 01119-1333. Compensation Annual salary range: $65,000.00 – $100,000.00. Performance bonus possible, annually or quarterly. Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location. Complex Structure differential based on external factors. State Pay Differential where required by law.
