Opportunity

Ensure that all guests are served to the standard in the Restaurant / Bar /Banquetareas. Takes orders for, serves (where applicable, prepares) food and beverages to guests as per the standards in a friendly,timelyand efficient manner.

This is a casual part-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 10:00 am - 10:00 pm.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.

• Suggest food and beverages to the guestutilizingappropriate methodsto upsell.

• Take food and beverage orders from the guestand accuratelyenter intoPointof sale (POS) system.

• Greets guests and presents them with the menuwhen applicable.

• Process payment transactions.

• Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.

• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

• Communicatetothe guest and provide assistance withquestions.

• Coordinate withrestaurantstaff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

• Server food and beverage per the course of order.

• Observesguests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.

• Promptly respond to guest with anyadditionalrequest.

• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

• Prepare mixed drinks for service to yourcustomerstablewhen applicable(must be 18 or over and licensed).

• Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort.

• Assistwith stocking andmaintainingthe restaurant par stock levels and side station.

• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones andseating guests.

Skills/Requirements

• Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.

• 2 yearspreviousexperience as a server,required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The employee isfrequentlyrequired tostand, walk,sit,climbor balance,and stoop or kneel.The employee mustfrequentlylift and/or move objects up to30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $2.33 - $6.70 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
