Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients on an LDRP unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Assist with and support inductions, spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD), and cesarean sections (C/S)
• Operate and monitor patients using GE fetal monitoring systems, Novii Wireless monitoring, Spectrum IV Pumps, and CADD epidural PCA devices
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and nursery staff across a 10 LDR bed, 3 triage bay, and 2 OR suite unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent experience
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience working in a high-engagement, team-oriented Labor & Delivery environment
