Job Details Job Location: Gardena Carson Family YMCA - Gardena, CA 90248 Position Type: Seasonal Salary Range: $17.87 - $17.87 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Any Role Overview Earn extra cash while creating unforgettable memories as a YMCA Seasonal Summer Day Camp Counselor. Spend your days leading exciting activities, guiding kids through awesome field trips, helping them stay engaged between school years, and making a splash while keeping everyone safe at the pool. Responsibilities Lead engaging activities for youth. Guide children on field trips. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Support supervision at the pool and other campus facilities. Assist with program preparation and set‑up. Required Trainings Attend all assigned summer day camp trainings; training is paid. Attend all pre‑camp trainings and development sessions. Have valid YMCA‑approved CPR/First Aid/AED certification or obtain within 30 days of hire. Benefits Flexible schedules: up to 40 hours per week. Free access to all 29 Greater LA Branches.
