Licensed Therapist or Associate Therapist ( LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW)Serenity Light Recovery Center at Sierra Health and Wellness use evidence-based methods to accomplish the restoration of families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues.Positions available :Full timeEssential Functions:Licensed registration from Texas HHS (vis. LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW). At least 2-years of experience in evaluating and or treating persons suffering from Drug and Alcohol abuse. Must demonstrate knowledge of treatment needs and modalities depending on diagnostic issues. Current and in good standing with the Texas Board.Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clientsAssesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.Works as a team member with other professionalsParticipates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferencesConducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relativesParticipates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agenciesPrepares verbal, written, and statistical reportsAttends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issuesOperates a personal computer and other office equipmentCommunicates effectively with others in person and over the telephoneAnalyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responsesPerform job duties under stressful conditionsMay be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilitiesEducation and minimum qualification:Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board ( LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW)Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.Must possess a valid Driver’s LicensePreferred education and experience:One to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counselingBachelor's degree in a related field.Required education and experience:Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.Have at minimum two years of experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.Must possess a valid Driver’s LicensePreferred education and experience:Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counselingBachelor's degree in a related field.Additional Eligibility Requirements:N/AWork authorization/security clearance requirements:Valid Drivers License #J-18808-Ljbffr
