Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist in Rome, NY

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to join a hospital setting in Utica, NY. The role is based primarily in the central pharmacy and operates on a days/afternoons schedule, offering a chance to contribute critically to patient care through safe medication management.


Responsibilities include:

• Accurately verifying and dispensing medications, including dosing, labeling, and handling IV and controlled substances
• Monitoring patient profiles to identify and resolve drug interactions, allergies, or other medication-related concerns
• Providing timely drug information and support to healthcare providers and clinical teams
• Preparing sterile products, including IV admixtures, in compliance with USP guidelines
• Supporting pharmacy operations via inventory management, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Ideal candidates will hold a valid New York State Pharmacist License and have completed PGY1 residency or possess strong inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. This background ensures proficiency with hospital protocols and the ability to navigate complex medication regimens effectively.
