NOW HIRING: EHS Safety Technician | Semiconductor Manufacturing | Compal

Shift: 8a-5p Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $26 and up based on experience



 
What You’ll Do:

• Inspections & Audits: Take charge of facility, workstation, and equipment inspections—keeping our cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing safe and fully compliant.
• Hazard Assessments: Dive into Job/Task Hazard Assessments and help craft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that set the bar for excellence.
• Training & Onboarding: Guide new hires and seasoned pros alike in health & safety orientations, making sure everyone stays safe and informed.
• Incident Investigation: Be a key player in incident and near-miss investigations, uncover root causes, and implement corrective actions that make a difference.
• Environmental Compliance: Collect dust, gas, and vapor samples, plus assist with proper hazardous waste handling and disposal.
• Teamwork: Partner with departments across the business to deliver top-tier EHS compliance and maintain our reputation as industry leaders.

 
Who You Are:

• Have a high school diploma and 2+ years’ Safety Technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Know OSHA standards like the back of your hand.
• Rely on strong writing, analytical, and data interpretation skills to communicate effectively.
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Can lift 25 lbs occasionally, work comfortably in environments with noise, dust, fumes, and limited lighting—and you’re agile enough to travel between Taylor & Georgetown facilities.
• Bonus: Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems!
