We are seeking a Node.js Tech Lead to join our team.


This role will involve designing, leading, and delivering cloud-native, serverless applications using Node.js and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Node.js development, AWS Lambda, microservices architecture, and serverless best practices , along with a passion for building scalable and high-performance systems.

Job Description:


The Node.js Tech Lead will be responsible for architecting, developing, and leading the implementation of serverless applications built on AWS. This role focuses on delivering scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized microservices using Node.js and modern cloud-native design patterns.


As a Node.js Tech Lead , you will guide technical decisions, design RESTful and event-driven architectures, and ensure best practices are followed across development teams. You will work extensively with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge to deliver high-quality solutions.


The Node.js Tech Lead will also be responsible for performance optimization, including reducing cold starts, managing concurrency, and improving overall system reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence.


In this role, the Node.js Tech Lead will mentor developers, review code, and contribute to architectural standards while maintaining hands-on involvement. The Node.js Tech Lead will play a critical role in shaping cloud strategy and ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js-based serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven workflows using AWS services
• Build and manage microservices with high availability, scalability, and reliability
• Optimize Lambda performance through cold-start reduction, concurrency tuning, and cost control
• Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance to development teams
• Ensure best practices for asynchronous programming using promises and async/await
• Work with NoSQL and SQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Support containerized workloads using Docker where applicable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions end-to-end
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
• Strong expertise in AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway and related services
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming models
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native application design
• Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Exposure to AWS services such as Kinesis and Step Functions
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies in serverless solutions
