Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. If you're equally passionate about what you do and want to know more about our refreshing culture, please let us hear from you!Responsibilities:Providing a presentation layer that is consistent across all supported browsers and platformsMaintaining and developing user-facing features and applicationsBuilding reusable code and librariesAssisting back-end developers in coding and troubleshootingEnsuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsCollaborating in an agile environment with other scrum team members and stakeholdersOptimizing applications for maximum speed and scalabilityMaintaining graphic standards and branding throughout our product interfacesStaying up to date on emerging technologiesPromoting usability and coding best practicesParticipating in all code reviews and meetingsCreating prototypes when neededQualifications:5+ years of experience working in front-end developmentProficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3Well-versed in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQueryProficient understanding of one or more MV* frameworks, such as Knockout, Backbone, or AngularJSDeep knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themExperience with source control and code versioning toolsGood understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXBasic knowledge of image authoring tools; familiarity with Photoshop a plusFamiliarity with Sass and CSS frameworksKnowledge of advanced CSS layout methods, such as FlexboxExperience working in an agile/scrum project process a plusFamiliarity with data visualization libraries such as Highcharts and D3 a plusExperience working with and developing best practices for front-end developmentExcellent attention to detailComfortable with multitaskingCreative thinking within a set of guidelines
