Office Assistant (Full-Time, In-Office)

Location: The Dalles, Oregon
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $22–$24/hour (based on experience)

About Us

At Almost Family, LLC , we are committed to providing compassionate, client-centered in-home care services to the Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled (I/DD) Population. We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive  Office Assistant to support our I/DD Director and field staff in delivering high-quality care across the Columbia Gorge. This is a full-time, in-office role located in The Dalles, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist with preparation, organization, and maintenance of client files in accordance with Oregon IDD and OAR requirements.



• 
  

  Communicate schedule changes promptly with caregivers, DSPs, and clients.



• 
  

  Travel to clients’ homes as needed to deliver or collect essential forms and documentation.



• 
  

  Answer incoming calls and emails from clients, families, caregivers, and staff in a professional and compassionate manner.



• 
  

  Manage and organize compliance documentation for field staff.



• 
  

  Schedule interviews for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other field staff.



• 
  

  Ensure timely submission and review of care logs.



• 
  

  Provide administrative support that enables the IDD Director to focus on growth, compliance, and client care.



• 
  

  Help maintain a welcoming and professional office environment.

Qualifications

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent (required)



• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)



• 
  

  Strong organizational and communication skills



• 
  

  High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently



• 
  

  Previous experience in a home health or medical office setting (preferred)



• 
  

  Comfortable with light fieldwork (form pick-up/drop-off) throughout Central Oregon
