Business Systems Analyst

Title: Business Systems Analyst Location: Work from Home Note: This is a W2 contract position – C2C, 1099, & 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered Under minimal supervision, The Business Systems Analyst will formulate and define systems, scope, and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, they will develop or modify moderately-sized information systems, including the analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic issues, as necessary. They will consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment, and will assist and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. They must be competent to work in some phases of systems analysis, but may require guidance in others. Position Duties: · Under minimal supervision, with the implications of the application of new/differing technology to the current business environment in mind, utilize research and analysis along with an understanding of relevant business systems and industry requirements to define systems, scopes, and objectives for developing new or improving existing information systems · Perform business analysis workflow analysis and optimization works with users to define their needs and document requirements · Collaborate with others to troubleshoot issues with existing systems · Remain current with business requirements and needs based upon future industry trends and changes, and understand the implications for existing technology Position Qualifications: · 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field, with a background in a healthcare sciences or information systems · Detail oriented, with efficient data entry skills · Experience formulating and defining systems scopes and objectives preferred · Experience across the systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design, preferred · Experience participating in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation preferred · A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Healthcare, or other relevant field; Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred #ALINE11
