Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival, creating a friendly and reassuring environment
• Assist with patient check-in via self-service kiosks or handheld tablets
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established procedures
• Help maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area and draw rooms
• Assist with staff breaks and staffing coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected specimens and patient information
• Promote a safe, professional, and organized environment in the clinical setting
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to create trust and confidence with patients

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health, etc.)
• Phlebotomy experience is required, including internship or externship experience
• Keyboard and data entry skills are essential
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle patients with care and compassion

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite within a 20-25 minute commute
• Availability to work scheduled shifts, be punctual, and stay the full duration
• Flexibility to cover lobby greeter duties and staffing shortages, including assisting in draw rooms
• Willingness to work in both the lobby and clinical areas as needed
• No excessive absences or tardiness, as these are grounds for termination
• Candidates who are students should ensure their schedules do not conflict with shifts
