Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 1.5 years of ICU experience and a NJ or compact RN license. Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience required Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Experience with IV therapy, arterial line and central line care/management, and continuous IV sedation Proficient in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips Respiratory/thoracic skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, and ETT/NT suctioning Knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE use Responsibilities Work in the ICU department of a hospital environment Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week Epic charting system used, experience preferred Unit accepts first-time travelers Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex medical needs Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration, with no more than 3 days auto-approved and none during the first week of orientation Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position First-time travelers are welcome to apply Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-757590 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
