General Manager – Neighborhood BarWe're looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead a casual neighborhood bar. We need someone who enjoys being behind the bar, connecting with regulars, leading the team, and setting the tone for a great guest experience.The General Manager will oversee the overall operation while also regularly working tipped bartending shifts as part of the bar team.What You'll DoLead day-to-day bar operations and overall business performanceHire, train, coach, schedule, and develop a strong bartending teamWork scheduled tipped bartending shifts Maintain a flexible schedule with a combination of days, nights, and weekends based on the needs of the businessCreate a welcoming, energetic environment for guests and regularsMaintain strong service standards while keeping the atmosphere casual and approachableManage labor, inventory, ordering, cash controls, and operating costsHandle guest concerns and support the team during busy shiftsMaintain cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol-service standardsPartner with ownership/leadership on promotions, events, and sales-building opportunitiesHold the team accountable while building a positive, dependable cultureWhat We're Looking ForPrevious bar management experienceStrong bartending experienceComfortable leading from behind the bar rather than managing from the officeOpen availability and the ability to work a combination of day, night, and weekend shiftsStrong understanding of labor, inventory, beverage costs, and schedulingConfident, personable leadership styleSomeone who can build relationships with regulars while welcoming new guestsOrganized, reliable, and able to keep things moving in a fast-paced environmentThe Right FitYou understand that a great neighborhood bar is built on personality, consistency, regulars, and a strong bartending team.
