Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. Start date: 08/03/2026 for a 16-week contract. Weekly pay $2,541–$2,683 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Setting: hospital Birthing Center with Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal status; support laboring patients through delivery and postpartum transition
- Assist with obstetric procedures and deliveries; provide newborn care and parent education
- Administer medications and anticoagulation per protocol; manage pain relief and labor progression
- Perform ongoing nursing assessments; document in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate changes to the team
- Respond to obstetric emergencies, collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, and pediatric teams
- Float to medical-surgical and emergency department units as needed; maintain patient and family safety, privacy, and comfort
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, infection control, and patient safety standards; schedule may vary with unit needs and patient care demands
- Maintain reliability for a minimum of every other weekend or schedule adjustments to meet unit requirements

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing; Vermont licensure or eligibility to practice in Vermont
- BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
- 1 year of LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum) experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to float to Med-Surg and ED units; night shift availability
- Reliable transportation required
