Bore Drill Operator - Telecom

Job Title Telecom Drill Bores Operator Job Summary At North Sky Communications, LLC, you’ll be responsible for operating drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. Benefits Weekly Paychecks Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) 401(k) with Company Match Stock Purchase Plan Education Reimbursement Legal Insurance Discounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and more Responsibilities Determine bore path and locate utilities Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path Utilize “Mud” mixing systems Develop and maintain a bore schedule Responsible for site set-up, clean‑up, and equipment maintenance Perform work in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned Requirements At least 18 years of age Authorization to work in the United States for the company High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience Valid state driver's license (non‑provisional) with acceptable driving record Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it Experience with drilling equipment, including capabilities, limitations, drill setup, and design processes Physical Abilities & Exposures Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse Wage Range $30.00 - $38.00 per hour Equal Opportunity Statement Our company is an equal‑opportunity employer.
