Step into an exciting, full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Odessa, DE for the 2026/27 academic year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple age groups, balancing a caseload that includes one high school group and two preschool groups. Your expertise will help drive student communication success, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility
- Experience in school-based settings, including both high school and preschool populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare documentation best practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedicated to facilitating student growth in a diverse educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services, both in-person and virtually as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment outcomes, and compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
