As a Security Officer Reception Services in Elmira, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence, assisting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents and support a positive environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service at a front desk within a healthcare education location, greeting visitors, students, staff, and vendors while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor authorization, issuing credentials as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general directions and information, and route inquiries to appropriate departments while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity, report suspicious or unusual behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access through a visible, professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
