DePaul Prep, in partnership with DePaul University, provides a rigorous college-prep education to its diverse student body, which includes students with learning differences. The purpose of the Learning Specialist position is to engage in the following with our diverse learners at DePaul College Prep: Provide direct and targeted support to students in a collaborative team teaching or structured study hall environment. DePaul Prep's diverse learners have demonstrated and documented learning needs that require support to successfully access and demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of essential concepts in grade-level courses, leading to a college-ready graduate. Partner with teachers to ensure that students are receiving appropriate accommodations in their learning environments, ensuring equity and growth in cognitive capacity and academic achievement.
