Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Snellville, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 1-2 patients. Unit features 13 Labor & Delivery rooms and 2 operating rooms with approximately 200 deliveries per month. 12-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• High-volume obstetrics unit averaging 200 deliveries monthly in a modern 13-room L&D suite with 2 dedicated ORs
• Comprehensive case mix including vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, triage, recovery, and couplet care
• Epic electronic medical record system with Pyxis medication management
• Scrubs provided by facility for your convenience
• May float within Women's Services to Mother Baby and postpartum units
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Experience with labor and delivery, cesarean sections, external fetal monitoring, triage of obstetrical patients, newborn assessment, and postpartum care
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; late compliance results in 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
