Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Previous experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Adaptability to work both onsite and via remote (voco) platforms
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable interacting with students, staff, and families
- Ability to efficiently manage caseload documentation and IEP-related paperwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students with developmental, sensory, and functional challenges
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, track progress, and adjust strategies to meet student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure holistic support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
