Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, and formulate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
• Deliver personalized individual therapy sessions utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or mindfulness practices.
• Set clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor their progress regularly to ensure effectiveness of treatment.
• Provide teletherapy options, accommodating accessibility challenges faced by clients, ensuring they receive necessary support wherever they are.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and relevant literature to stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current state license as either an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Exhibit empathy, a compassionate approach, and an understanding attitude toward clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage time effectively in a high-demand, remote work environment.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training or experience in trauma-informed care, mindfulness practices, or other contemporary therapeutic modalities will be highly valued. Previous telehealth experience is preferred as it will facilitate a smoother transition into this remote role. Any experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents or individuals with PTSD, will also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary range between $120,000 and $140,000. Additional financial incentives include a $3,000 sign-on bonus for newly hired counselors.
