OB Hospitalist Opportunity | 100% Inpatient Practice | Level III NICU | 7-8 Shifts/Month

St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our growing OB/GYN Hospitalist Program. Practice Highlights

• 100% inpatient practice with no clinic responsibilities

• Schedule of 7-8, 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

Women's Services & Hospital Resources

• St. Bernards Medical Center – 457-bed regional referral center

• Approximately 1,845 deliveries annually

• 13 Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms

• 3 observation rooms and 2 dedicated operating rooms on Labor & Delivery

• 19-bed Level IIIA NICU providing advanced neonatal care

• Strong support from maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, anesthesia, neonatology, and surgical specialists

Position Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care for unassigned obstetrical patients presenting to Labor & Delivery or the Emergency Department

• Assist private practice physicians with emergency situations and requested deliveries

• Provide backup and consultative support to the Family Medicine Residency Program

• Manage inpatient gynecologic consultations as needed

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
