Life Enrichment Assistant SMP Health – St. Catherine North | Fargo, ND SMP Health is seeking an energetic and compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at St. Catherine North. In this role, you will help create meaningful experiences that enhance residents' physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive well-being. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a vibrant community where residents feel connected, valued, and supported. Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and leading resident programs, activities, and special events Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities Support social, recreational, physical, spiritual, and cognitive wellness programs Help transport residents to and from activities as needed Assist with decorating and preparing activity spaces for events and celebrations Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members Conduct one-on-one visits with residents who may be unable or reluctant to participate in group activities Maintain activity supplies, calendars, and participation records Support holiday celebrations, community events, and special programs Promote resident dignity, independence, choice, and quality of life Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, customer service, education, or related fields preferred Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Creative, organized, and dependable Experience working with older adults is a plus Ability to encourage engagement and create meaningful resident interactions Pay & Benefits $18.00 – $22.00 per hour Benefits include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off Life Insurance Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Referral Program Opportunities for Advancement Schedule Full-time position Day shift hours Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation Why Join SMP Health?
