About the Role: Key Responsibilities: Execute scoped penetration tests against cloud-native services and applications hosted on Bedrock/SageMaker. Assist in security testing of APIs, model integrations, and vector data stores supporting Generative AI workloads. Perform adversarial AI testing such as prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, and misuse simulations under defined test plans. Assess security controls including IAM permissions, KMS encryption, VPC networking, and logging configuration. Support threat modeling activities focused on AI misuse, data exposure, and privilege escalation risks. Produce clear, actionable findings with evidence, risk assessment, and remediation guidance. Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security. Strong hands-on expertise with services (IAM, KMS, VPC, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Bedrock). Experience conductingcloud-native penetration testsand application security reviews. Familiarity with generative AI threats (prompt injection, data leakage, model inversion, adversarial inputs). Mandatory Proficiency in Python + Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Go, Bash, or PowerShell). Working knowledge of offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap,Prowler, Pacu, ScoutSuite). Strong understanding ofnetwork security, authentication, and API security testing. Desired Qualifications: Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $75000 – $80,000 Canadian Dollar annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
