Participate in project scheduling activities to ensure timely completion of design phases and deliverables. Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical issues identified during testing or manufacturing, proposing effective solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize processes, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and assembly procedures. Perform basic finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or LabVIEW to validate mechanical concepts. Assist in system design activities involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, or other automation components for integrated systems. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including schematics, drafting reports, and compliance with ASME codes & standards. Support testing activities by preparing prototypes, conducting measurements, and analyzing data to improve product performance. Engage in continuous learning about quantum engineering applications and advanced manufacturing techniques to enhance project outcomes. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo is required; experience with drafting and schematics is preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, and system design. Exposure to manufacturing processes like CNC machining, 3D printing, or assembly is advantageous. Knowledge of programming environments such as MATLAB, C/C++, or LabVIEW for automation and control tasks. Experience with project scheduling tools and root cause analysis methodologies is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic mindset eager to learn new technologies like quantum engineering or advanced FEA techniques.
