Product Manager, Safety and Law Enforcement

This team of Designers, Product Managers, and Strategists works collaboratively across areas like Core Growth, Content, Bitmoji, Augmented Reality, AI, and Emerging Products. Together, they craft innovative solutions that enhance user connections, elevate content and AR experiences, and drive the growth and evolution of Snapchat's core platform.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team at Snap Inc focussed on Safety and Law Enforcement!

What you'll do:

• Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for high impact safety, law enforcement and regulatory compliance product areas to gain trust with all external stakeholders and improve safety on Snapchat
• Define goals and own performance against key business metrics for community safety and law enforcement compliance, and proactively drive accountability towards those goals
• Evolve continuously — constantly identify and size new opportunities to improve these features via data insights, user research, and design thinking.
• Drive the team’s roadmaps and execution end-to-end — from planning processes to design to development and through launch, authoring excellent documentation and sharing insights and results throughout the company
• Collaborating with cross functional partners to understand regulatory and compliance requirements and defining solutions to meet obligations

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to define features/requirements, clearly prioritize and deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, operations, data science and other cross-functional teammates
• Excellent analytical skills, experience with AB testing, and the ability to understand problems/opportunities, define goals and success metrics
• Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking
• Outstanding communication skills and extremely comfortable conveying complex topics to a diverse array of stakeholders
• Skilled in interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organization
• Ability to initiate projects, execute against defined objectives, and communicate the results of analyses clearly and effectively
• Ability to develop AI first approaches to solving complex problems at scale

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
• 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company; OR a Masters and 3+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain experience working in trust & safety, anti-abuse, or regulatory compliance
• Product Management experience working on a consumer product
• Hands on experience writing complex SQL, and doing descriptive and predictive analytics.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related fields
• A passion for Snapchat!

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :

The base salary range for this position is $173,000-$259,000 annually.

Zone B :

The base salary range for this position is $164,000-$246,000 annually.

Zone C :

The base salary range for this position is $147,000-$220,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
