Position Summary
A local company is hiring an experienced Secretary/Office Manager to handle bookkeeping, payroll-related reporting, client communication, and day-to-day office operations. This position is full-time during peak tax seasons and part-time during off season.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare payroll tax reports, 1099s, and W-2s
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform bookkeeping and data entry
- Answer phones and assist clients
- Maintain files, records, logs, and schedules
- Manage office supplies and general office organization
- Maintain calendars and assist with scheduling
- Handle mail, deadlines, renewals, and registrations
- Provide general administrative support
- 5-10 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
- Accounting CS and UltraTax CS experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities
- Monday-Thursday | 9:00 AM-4:00 PM;
- Full-time during Tax season January to May
Part-time during off season! May-December
- $18-22+/HR DOE
