Job Title Travel CT Technologist – Boston, Massachusetts Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Boston. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, ensuring image quality, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided. Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and image accuracy. Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT tech practice. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist. Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT certification. Additional certifications and licenses may be required. Essential Skills Strong critical thinking and service‑excellence skills. Good interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities. English reading, writing, and comprehension skills, plus PC proficiency. Physical Abilities – Ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal Skills – Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a professional demeanor. Technical/Motor Skills – Fine manipulation and ability to assist with procedures and departmental equipment. Mental Requirements – Ability to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work independently or under occasional supervision.
