Radiology - Nuclear Med Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; 1st timers accepted License: Required Certifications: NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM) Must-Have: Patient population experience ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.Skills in performing HIDA scans, Bone scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Gastric Emptying studies, Brain Death studies, Myocardial Perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 Whole body scans, I-131 Ablations, and Renal scans with or without Lasix. Description:The candidate will perform various nuclear medicine procedures.The role includes conducting HIDA scans, Bone scans, and Lymphoscintigraphy.The technologist will also perform Gastric Emptying, Brain Death, and Myocardial Perfusion SPECT procedures.Experience with I-123 and I-131 scans is essential.Candidates must be capable of performing renal scans and parathyroid evaluations.The position involves possible call shifts, as well as some weekend coverage.The work environment requires proficiency with PACS and electronic health record systems.Additional responsibilities may include providing support during emergency cases in other locations.Candidates must comply with all standard onboarding requirements prior to starting.All candidates will undergo a clinical screen to assess their fit for the position.This position will support a diverse patient demographic and requires strong technical skills in nuclear medicine.A maximum of 7 days of time off is permitted.Holidays may also require potential work obligations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
