Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a highly qualified Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed team in Florida. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and various digestive disorders. You will perform procedures including endoscopies and colonoscopies, along with interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to create effective treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Engage in continuous education and stay informed on the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
- Accurately document patient information and treatment plans in the electronic medical records system.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Florida.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to professional development and keeping abreast of industry advancements.
