We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Java Engineer to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career developer to work on systems that have real-world financial impact.

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain Java-based services that detect and minimize risk in payment processing.
\n
• Work on real-time systems that identify potentially fraudulent activity and enforce risk policies.
\n
• Help improve the scalability, reliability, and observability of risk-related microservices.
\n
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions around architecture and design.
\n
• Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high system reliability.
\n
• Continuously learn and grow within a fast-paced, supportive engineering environment.
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
\n
• (Master’s in CS preferred)
\n
• Strong foundation in Java and object-oriented programming.
\n
• Understanding of data structures , algorithms , and design patterns .
\n
• Exposure to or interest in distributed systems , real-time processing , or fraud detection is a plus.
\n
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs , SQL , and development tools like Git .
\n
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn from and contribute to the team.

• Exposure to Spring Boot , message queues (e.g., Kafka), or cloud services (e.g., AWS).
\n
• Familiarity with basic data analytics or rules engines for risk assessment.
