The Edgefield Health Department is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Services team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community health by delivering culturally competent, client-centered care across Family Planning, STD/HIV Services, and Immunizations. The Clinic RN delivers comprehensive nursing care through assessment, treatment, education, counseling, and referral. This role supports public health goals by promoting wellness, prevention, and vaccine safety while upholding agency values, policies, and medical orders to ensure efficient, confidential, and high-quality service delivery within Edgefield County and surrounding areas.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Licensure as a registered nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina. Some positions require certification in Basic Life Support. Some positions may require possession of a valid driver's license.

Agency Additional Requirements:

Must hold an active South Carolina nursing license in good standing, or a valid multistate license in good standing from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state (this allows them to be hired, start working, and have 60 days to change over to SC license by endorsement by BON. Exception is for military status and/or spouse). Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application may upload an unofficial copy of the transcript as an attachment to the application. Please note that the agency will require an official, certified copy of the transcript or diploma prior to hiring. Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year of nursing experience is preferred.
