At Tanglewood Conservatories , we do not build ordinary rooms.

We design and install handcrafted, custom conservatories, greenhouses, skylights, and architectural glass structures for exceptional homes and properties throughout the country.

Every project is different. Every detail matters.

We are looking for an experienced Finish / Trim Carpenter who takes genuine pride in craftsmanship and enjoys the challenge of making things fit, function, and look exactly as they should.

If you are the kind of carpenter who notices when something is slightly out of square, cares about the quality of a joint that most people will never notice, and enjoys standing back at the end of a project knowing you helped build that , you may be exactly who we are looking for.

What Makes This Job Different

This is not repetitive production carpentry.

You will work alongside skilled craftspeople to build highly customized architectural projects. One project may involve an intricate hardwood conservatory. Another may be a steel and glass greenhouse, a monumental skylight, or a completely custom structure unlike anything you have built before.

Our work requires skill, patience, problem solving, precision, and pride.

It also gives you the opportunity to build things very few carpenters will ever have the chance to build.

What You Will Do

• As part of our installation team, you will:
• Install custom architectural millwork, trim, windows, doors, moldings, and finish components
• Fit and adjust custom fabricated pieces where precision matters
• Read and work from architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
• Solve field conditions and installation challenges alongside experienced team members
• Perform detailed adjustments and finishing work to achieve an exceptional final result
• Coordinate with project managers, fellow installers, and other trades on site
• Protect finished work and maintain an organized, professional job site
• Travel throughout the United States to install Tanglewood projects

Who We Are Looking For

We care about experience, but we care just as much about how you approach your work. You may be a great fit if you:

• Have 5+ years of finish carpentry, trim carpentry, millwork, cabinetry, custom home construction, or similar experience
• Have strong woodworking and construction skills
• Understand how to read construction drawings and translate them into finished work
• Are comfortable working with high end materials and tight tolerances
• Have an exceptional eye for detail
• Can think through problems instead of waiting for someone else to solve them
• Take care of your tools, your workspace, and the work around you
• Work well as part of a skilled team
• Are dependable and take pride in doing things correctly
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
