Delivery Driver / Mechanically Inclined Technician

Location: Orlando, FL

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

(Some days may run until 5:00 PM depending on delivery sites)

Position Overview

A growing company in the pump industry is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn. This role primarily focuses on delivering and picking up equipment using box trucks and trucks with trailers, while also performing basic mechanical tasks at job sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates , including individuals new to the workforce or recent diesel/mechanical school graduates. The company is willing to train motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles, including box trucks, for deliveries and pickups

• Safely pull and maneuver trailers (primary duty)

• Load and unload pumps and equipment at construction and job sites (50+ lbs)

• Perform basic mechanical tasks onsite, including:

• Oil changes

• Fuel filter replacements

• Replacing belts and minor components

• Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions

• Communicate professionally with customers and job site personnel

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to pass MVR)

• Comfortable pulling and maneuvering trailers

• Mechanically inclined with basic repair ability

• Must own basic hand tools

• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs regularly

• Willingness to work outdoors 100% of the time

• Dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
