Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. Hillcrest Hospital South is Tulsa's only ANCC?designated Pathway to Excellence hospital, with an accredited nurse residency program and ANCC recognition for Nursing Continuing Professional Development.

The Registered Nurse in is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients. Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire or upon signing a revised job description

Preferred Job Requirements:

One or more years of experience in a Step-Down Unit
Med/Surg experience with an aptitude for developing new skills will be considered
